Cancer and Mental Health

Sarah Reed from the cancer advocacy organization Mesothelioma Hope reached out to me.

She says “When it comes to cancer, the focus is often on physical health and treatment options. However, it is equally important to address the mental health needs of cancer patients.

A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming and emotionally challenging. Patients may experience a range of emotions, such as fear, anxiety, sadness, and even depression. This is where mental health support plays a crucial role in improving the overall well-being of individuals battling cancer.”

Mesothelioma Hope put together a guide to help cancer patients find the resources and help that they need.
