SS&H Book Corner :
Review of Letting Go by Charity Jackson
“Cyan Keller lost her whole world on a sandy path beside a quiet lake when her fiance was murdered in front of her. Two years later her world shakes again beside the crashing waves on a rocky ocean shore. The past and future collide….”
First let me say I love to read and I have not been able to for awhile because I was having visual problems. Last week my new glasses arrived and the first book I read was this one. Starting to read books again after months off it was hard for me to get going again. My head was swimming and distracted. However it wasn’t too many pages into this book that I was hooked. I did not want to stop reading.
I borrowed this book from my Kindle Unlimited subscription. After I read it I left a quick review on Amazon.com. Also, I just recently tried out Audible.
Do you enjoy audio or e-books or do you (like myself) prefer mostly to read books you can hold in your hand and turn the pages? Leave your answer in the comments.
I really enjoyed reading this book
Sorry I digress: Now back to my review of Letting Go. I did do a brief review on Amazon.com but I wanted to mention again in a blog post review how much I really enjoyed it. There were a few times I suspected what was going to happen and was correct. Several times though the twists and turns the story took surprised me. This book not only was a great distraction from my chronic pain but it was a fun read. I was in great anticipation of what would happen next.
Now, I won’t give away any hints or clues. I am just saying you might want to consider putting this on your summer reading list.
