Through it all!

So many people  Smiling Through The Pain, saying, “I’m fine,” when they feel far from it. Feeling like a bird trying to swim through the thick muck.

Going through the motions but gaining so little ground.  Like in “The Little Engine that Could,” say “I think I can, I think I can” over and over until you reach a point of rest and recharge.   This reminds me of the poem “Footprints in the Sand.” There may only be one set of footprints, but that was because the Lord was the one carrying us through the sand. Sometimes the pain and darkness just make it too easy to remember that we are not alone.

If you are in that place today here are some words that I hope will encourage you….

Quotes To Help You Through Tough Times

“Psalms 55:22 TPT KJV NIV NLT NKJV ESV So here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you.” ~  Bible.com

Through It All by: Andraé Crouch

"I’ve had many tears and sorrows,
I’ve had questions for tomorrow,
there’s been times I didn’t know right from wrong.
But in every situation,
God gave me blessed consolation,
that my trials come to only make me strong.

Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to trust in Jesus,
I’ve learned to trust in God.

Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.

I’ve been to lots of places,
I’ve seen a lot of faces,
there’s been times I felt so all alone.
But in my lonely hours,
yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus lets me know that I was His own

Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to trust in Jesus,
I’ve learned to trust in God.

Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.

I thank God for the mountains,
and I thank Him for the valleys,
I thank Him for the storms He brought me through.
For if I’d never had a problem,
I wouldn’t know God could solve them,
I’d never know what faith in God could do."
