As I’m on my journey to more serenity and harmony in my life, I like to share my ‘lessons learned’ with you, my readers. I am turning 60 this summer so I’ve learned a lot of things the hard way over the years.

I know that the internet has a wealth of information and not everyone agrees on how to do things so my writing is to give someone hope. Not everything I write will resonate. Some days it won’t measure up to what you are looking for. Other days I hope you find some gold nuggets to help YOU have more serenity and harmony in your life.

Now my ‘niche’ of writing is not about finance but I have learned a few things on the way and as the cost of living goes up and income hasn’t necessarily increased with it. I thought I need to go back to the basics and focus on our family finances. That old saying “a penny saved is a penny earned” .  I am going to round up some of my financial tidbits that I’m going to start routinely practicing and I hope it can help you too
