I am sure I am not the only one who is struggling with the roller coaster ride of emotions and a million distractions. Trying to keep the balance and not drop an important ball of the many I am juggling. Lets do this. Lets simplify and have more serenity and harmony together. Struggling to get back into the swing of things with homeschool or virtual school…
Create Every Day. May Calendar and activities Roundup “The world’s favorite season is the spring. All things seem possible in May.” ~ Edwin Way Teal If you go by the old saying “April showers bring may flowers” there should be flowers blooming all over the yard. April was a pretty wet month. I began to think were going to have to build an ark like Noah. Maybe that is why for some reason the ships radio call “May Day May Day” keeps popping into my head whenever I start typing about May first. I do wish I had taught my…
How is your last week of April going? It has been busy around here. I had mentioned in a few posts last week here and here about the declutter your scariest space challenge.
Whoopsies I never actually published my 2019 Goals list. that is included here along with a 4 month accountability update. My motivation I was inspired to put it out there and make my goals public by Becca Moore of The Moore Family Homestead. She said in an email to me ” Writing down our goals was the best thing we could have ever done. We took the first 65 days of this year and really laid out what it was we’d like to see happen over the next year. We don’t think all of them will happen, but writing them down…
Declutterring is Scary One day not long ago I was cleaning out my hard drive and organizing things into the appropriate file folders. I came across a letter I had written to myself about the serenity and harmony that I have found and want more of. This I assume is from an exercise in one of the self-improvement workshops I was taking. Dear Self, You have vented how you have a continual struggle with finishing your goal of cleaning out your excess belongings and full storage facilities. You CAN do this. Don’t give up. You have the goal and now…
Amazon Give Back Box Program I heard something recently that I thought was neat. I have been recycling my Amazon boxes but I just heard of a better way of using them. They have a box recycling program called the Give Back Box. “The goal is to encourage Amazon customers to re-use their boxes to donate clothing or other goods to GoodWill Industries.” This program has apparently been around since 2012 and I am just now hearing about it 7 years later. They even pay the…

Today December 26th 2009 I think is a good time to start planning to limit the clutter and chaos and increase the amount of Christmas joy for the 2010 Christmas season. At the moment I’m looking at the piles of opened gifts and kids candy wrappers scattered. My hat is off to those…
