Reflections on the 2024 April A to Z Blogging Challenge

Reflecions 2024 #AtoZChallenge

My Reflections on the 2024 April A to Z Blogging Challenge

The first of the reflection questions was ‘Did you win?”  Personally I have a hard time calling myself a winner. But if winning is based on completing all 26 letters of the alphabet in the month of April than YES!!!! I DID IT!!! WOOOHOO!!

  • I am excited because this is the first ‘challenge’ I can say I completed and on time! So many times I sign up for things and end up falling behind and then giving up. This though gave me the boost I needed to get back into writing regularly. That is something I have been talking about doing for a long time. Now, thanks to participating in this challenge I am doing it.
  • Do you believe your blog saw an increase in traffic and comments during April 2024? A little bump. Everything counts. More than that I wrote regularly and for me that’s a huge win. Now my next goal is to find ways to see an increase in those comments and traffic.
    • Any thanks? Yes a huge thanks to the team for putting this together. To the team and participants who encouraged me.
  • Have you learned anything because of the #AtoZChallenge? Yes that consistency is key.
  • Did you use a theme in 2024?  I went with the mental health theme. I think I like the idea of having a theme. Previous years I blogged for part of the challenge I did not have a theme and I was not as consistent.
  • Any thoughts on themes?NO  I like them for myself but to each his own.
  • Was taking part in the challenge a positive experience for you and your blog? YES
If you’ve earned it, display your winner’s badge!

  • I loved the use of the Graphics page?
    • Is the HTML useful to you? The HTML made using the graphics easier for me to just grab and go.
    • Are there any other images or graphics the team could offer to help you? not that I can think of
  • Any suggestions for the team? no

    • Did you check the MasterList to be sure your entry was correct? yes

  1. Congratulations on finishing the A to Z 2024. You are dead right about how advantageous it is using a theme for the challenge. I wrote and scheduled all my posts in March which left for free to blog hop during April. That approach works best for me, but everyone finds their won way and I think it’s great that you feel a real sense of achievement about completing the challenge this year. Good on you!
