Hold On 1 More Day Mental Health Support

Hold On for One More Day There were moments when the darkness felt heavier than hope. When breathing through the day felt like an act of courage. In those times, one song whispered what Laurie needed to hear: Hold on for one more day. So she held on when letting go felt easier. Then held on through the ache, the fear, and the exhaustion. She held on tightly—because somewhere deep inside, a small voice reminded her: Your life matters. If today feels unbearable, this is your reminder, too.Hang on tightly.Hold on.Don’t let go. You don’t have to see the whole path—Just stay for…

    Goals 2019 Accountability Update 1

Whoopsies I never actually published my 2019 Goals list. that is included here along with a 4 month accountability update. My motivation I  was inspired to put it out there and make my goals public by Becca Moore of The Moore Family Homestead. I came across a letter I had written to myself about the serenity and harmony that I have found and want more of.  This I assume is from an exercise in one of the self-improvement workshops I was taking. Dear Self, You have vented how you have a continual struggle with finishing your goal of cleaning out your excess belongings and full storage facilities. You CAN do this. Don’t give up. You have the goal and now…

Earth Day 2019 Are You Doing Anything Special Today?

Earth Day Today is Earth Day 2019. I remember as a kid going out with a group from town and carrying trash bags to do a roadside cleanup.  Honestly I wish instead of thinking about it one day a year that we all thought about it every day. Do you want to be more eco conscious? I want to do more reducing, reusing and recycling without becoming a hoarder who never throws anything away of course. That I guess would be a more minimalist, less on the grid lifestyle I am seeking. Sierra Club has a list of 10 Activities…

Happy Easter Day 2019 From Harmony Homestead

Spring Chick Days 2019 It is spring time and spring chick days started at the end of February. Tractor Supply is running a fan photo contest. Here on Harmony Homestead I had a hatch that had only 1 turkey and they do best when they have chicks with them to teach them to eat and drink. We didn’t want him to be lonely so ventured out to Tractor Supply to find him some friends. Surprised I found two ducklings that were marked down to .50 cents each, They had to come home with me. I also brought home four bantam…
