I LOVE our Door Buddy!! My daughter received a Door Buddy to review I think it was through Pupfluence and it is amazing. In our house, it gives our cats a room that the dogs can’t access to and keeps the litter box and cat food off limits to the canines. Make Baby & Dog Proofing Simple @thedoorbuddy
Direction in 2020 Well this post didn’t get published before the linkup was over but I am going to hit the publish button anyway. I am determined that this year I will not leave a pile of things unfinished.

2020 Vision: I had started writing this post before Christmas but in the chaos of holiday preparations it was left unfinished. So many of my projects I had planned to complete this year are still unfinished. I am not going to look at them as failures I see them as works in progress just as I am. Now we look forward to 2020 with a clearer vision of what my priorities should be. One of those of course is home and family. Second is focusing on the advocacy work that I feel God leading me to do. More about that…
Darkness This weeks writing prompt for Five Minute Friday is Darkness. I have spent so much of my life fighting depression. Fighting my way out of the depression. The weight of not being able to find joy in the blessings in life. Feeling guilty for not feeling joy for the things I should.
Mental Health Matters First off to my faithful readers I have to apologize that in the last month I’ve been quite forgetful and scattered with my posting. Please forgive me and stick around as I try to get my act together. Thanks for reading. Also because I tend to be over apologetic and say I’m sorry for things that aren’t mine to be sorry for and tend to feel guilty for things that I can’t control I’m told that my mental health requires me to stop being over apologetic.. So I promise to stop apologizing for being human (or at…

Now you will think It being December that I am going to be writing about currently wrapping presents, baking cookies. Lighting trees or candles, sending cards and enjoying the season. I love the way Delilah describes November “November is when seasonal changes are the most obvious. Deciduous trees have shed their camouflage and now stand sentinel over our streets and pathways, promising to be the watchmen over the harsh realities of winter. The morning air is crisp and hits our lungs like and exclamation point at the end of a sentence, filling us with excitement for the day ahead. And, unashamed, we leave our homes and face the world draped in layers of what we like to call “sweaters and scarves” but what we really know are security blankets that help us…
