Longing for More Calm and Less Chaos

Longing for More Calm and Less Chaos

I am linking up with Five Minute Friday. This week’s word prompt is “longing.”

Longing for more calm and less chaos.

I long for more calm.
More steady mornings. Calm coffee moments.
More predictable rhythms.
More quiet inside my body.
More space between triggers and reactions.
More moments where nothing is demanded.

I long for less chaos.
Less constant urgency.
Less emotional whiplash.
Less scrambling.
Less constantly stressed-based living.
Less feeling like I’m always behind.

I don’t need a “better mindset.”
I need fewer fires and more buffers.

Today’s affirmation: “I am building a life that feels calm to live inside.”

  1. Here from FMF. I love my calm coffee moments…they can still be hard to come by, even after my season of having little ones around all the time.
