Review of Letting Go by Charity Jackson

“Cyan Keller lost her whole world on a sandy path beside a quiet lake when her fiance was murdered in front of her. Two years later, her world shakes again beside the crashing waves on a rocky ocean shore. The past and future collide….”

First, let me say I love to read, but I have not been able to for awhile because I was having visual problems. Last week, my new glasses arrived and the first book I read was this one. Starting to read books again after months off, it was hard for me to get going again. My head was swimming and I was distracted. However, it wasn’t until I read too many pages into this book that I was hooked. I did not want to stop reading.

I borrowed this book from my Kindle Unlimited subscription. After I read it, I left a quick review on Amazon.com. Also, I just recently tried out Audible.

Do you enjoy audio or  e-books or do you (like myself) prefer mostly to read books you can hold in your hand and turn the pages? Leave your answer in the comments.

I really enjoyed reading this book

Sorry I digress: Now back to my review of Letting Go. I did do a brief review on Amazon.com but I wanted to mention again in a blog post review how much I really enjoyed it.  There were a few times I suspected what was going to happen and was correct. Several times, the twists and turns the story took surprised me. This book was not only a great distraction from my chronic pain but it was also a fun read. I was in great anticipation of what would happen next.

Now, I won’t give away any hints or clues. I am just saying you might want to consider putting this on your summer reading list.

  1. I much prefer to read a book rather than listen. I have several books I’m working through, for pleasure and research/business. I will have to read this book, it sounds intriguing.

  2. Interesting review and certainly something I may read in the future. I love a good murder mystery with a side of angst!

    Thank you for sharing.
