2017 Spring Chickens

I think of the old phrase about being a ‘spring chicken’ and wish I felt more like one. I’m currently struggling with a lot of pain and inflammation. This coincides with fighting constant fatigue.  One of the bright spots is seeing adorable little chicks, ducklings and turkeys hatching. I attempted to hatch goslings but that was a failure. Hatching season has almost come to a conclusion here on the homestead for this year.  Here are a few pictures to brighten your day.
