It is the first day of a new month in a year that has been one heck of a rough rollercoaster ride. I am trying to focus on getting some work done while the house is semi quiet. Semi quiet means one teen playing a video game in the other room.

The other teen wanting to learn to make homemade spaghetti sauce so I gave her my ball canning and preserving book and told her to go for it. She keeps asking questions and making sounds that are making it hard for me not to run and check to be sure she is ok.

The five year old is in a talkative mood at her desk pretending she is in school. She really misses going to school. Back to random ramblings on this day about the multiple tabs open in my head. I am trying to figure out what to do and where I want to go with my main blog I have been working on it for 18 months now. Shouldn’t I have hit ‘mompreneur status by now? Or that is how easy some bloggers make it look that I should be rolling in the dough. But it is really not that easy. I don’t want to discourage folks but it takes work and time. Time is where I am struggling.

I get so distracted so easily. Wanting to be all the things to all the people. Trying to be a good wife and mom. Trying to fulfill my expectations of myself as a homemaker and homesteader. Overall I want to make a difference and I want to be able to make money from home.
I have my blog and I have my Usborne Books and More business. I am not a very good ‘sales’ person. Meaning my personality is the type that does not want to try to ‘sell’ something to someone. I want them to come to me and say “Hey do you have any good books you can recommend about…?”.

I guess I am in a place where I am feeling the need to do an overhaul but I am not sure where I need to focus my efforts on improvements on my blog, on my time management skill etc.. Just feeling pretty overwhelmed
